Our Sons Have Names! (plus a great twin poem)

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I'd like to formally and excitedly announce that our previously unnamed twin sons are now the proud owners (although unknowingly) of their very own forever-names.

I'm proud to introduce to you:

Jacob Cooper Robertson
and
Noah Carter Robertson

They'll be called Cooper and Carter, respectively. We're ecstatic to share this news with everyone! No more calling them Baby A and B. No more headaches from flooding our brains with 2000+ names/hour. No more wondering.

Now for the poem. A friend of mine posted this after hearing that we were having boys:

So many good things come in pairs,
Like ears and socks and panda bears.
But best of all are sets of twins
With extra laughter, double grins.

There's so much fun in having two
With twice as many points of view.
So much alike, forever linked,
And yet they're also quite distinct.

They share a birthday and a name,
But moods and tempers aren't the same.
Although at times they may dispute,
Their loyalty is absolute.

From days of youth till life is done,
It's one for both and both for one.
We're all quite novel and precise,
But special boys... God made them twice.

Love the names..I like Carter and Cooper! At least they don't rhyme cause I know a few twins that do and i get them confused and most of them are identical so that confusing enough. But of coarse you'll still call them the other ones name cause everyone does, I call Sadie, Lance and vice versa. Good Job w/ the names. Tammie

Thanks Tammie. Miranda and her twin sister have rhyming names, we tried to get away from that, but at the same time we wanted the names to be close. They both start with "C" and and end with "er". That's as close as we wanted to get.

I absolutely LOVE the poem!!!!! It means so much to me considering I am a twin and now I'm having twins. It is very dear to my heart. And there is nothing like being a twin or having twins. It is a true blessing from God!!! I love boys soooo very much already!
